My husband and I are invited to a holiday party at the home of his bosses boss. I need to know what a nice hostess gift would be. Something besides wine as everyone brings that. We have never meet these people as my husband just started working at this company recently.

A coworker invited me to a holiday party at her home. I don’t know why she invited me as she doesn’t even speak to me most of the time at work. Anyway, what’s a good way to decline?

Also, my job is having a function that I don’t want to attend either. How do I get out of it gracefully? I am refusing to go on all counts. I’m just not interested. Thanks for the help.

Do I send thank you notes to the people who came to our party and left gifts? What about the gifts that were left without a name? I do not know who left them? How do I find out who left us what gifts?
